The Center for Disability Rights in West Haven held their 23rd Annual Meeting Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Savin Rock Conference Center in West Haven.

A business meeting of the general membership, which includes all dues paying members, began at 5:30 p.m., during which board member candidates were elected and voted on.

Executive Director Marc Anthony Gallucci addressed the board. A social hour began at 6:30, which was followed by a dinner at 7 p.m. and an awards ceremony.

Additionally, CDR was able to give two academic scholarships to local students. Christina Mazzatti of Guilford and Evan Brown of Southington were awarded 2011 scholarships.
